Sabrix Announces the Appointment of Erik van der Hoeven
Leading expert in international trade and global supply chain management to lead the VAT research and development team
SAN RAMON, CA - October 28, 2003 — Sabrix, Inc. a leading provider of enterprise tax management applications, today announced that Erik van der Hoeven has joined Sabrix to lead the Value Added Tax (VAT) research and development team. Mr. van der Hoeven has had extensive experience with VAT, customs and duty, and global supply chain management solutions during his respective tenures with the Dutch Ministry of Finance and with major accounting firm, Ernst and Young. Prior to joining Sabrix, Mr. van der Hoeven also worked as a consultant for leading global supply management companies and established a practice focused on delivering the next generation of real-time global trade content and services solutions.

Mr. van der Hoeven received his undergraduate degree at the University of Amsterdam. He received his law degree in International Trade and Customs Law at The Hague Tax Academy.
