Mark Oney
Senior Vice President, Operations

Mark Oney reports to the CEO and oversees Operations for the company. He has 20+ years of experience in operations and in software development and delivery for companies ranging from early stage start-ups to large multi-national corporations. At Sabrix, Mark is responsible for professional services, including post-sales implementation; and corporate tax services, including tax research, client on boarding, and managed tax services. Prior to focusing on scaling the operations team at Sabrix, Mark ran corporate tax services as well as software development, quality assurance, and technical communications teams for both on-premise and hosted software offerings. Mark was also instrumental in launching the company’s first on-demand offering, the Sabrix Managed Tax Service (MTS), serving as the general manager during the development and launch of the service.
Prior to Sabrix, Mark served as Vice President of Engineering and Client Services for Evant. He led the expansion of their Java suite of planning, replenishment, and forecasting products. In 2005, Evant was acquired by Manhattan Associates, Inc.
Prior to Evant, Mark worked at Extensity, Inc., joining the company in 1999 as Vice President of Engineering. While at Extensity, Mark led the development of a Java-based suite of front-office products which are actively used in deployments of 30,000+ seats in over 45 countries. Mark was a key member of the senior leadership team that took Extensity public in January 2000.
Mark’s early entrepreneurial work included co-founding Crag Technologies and Ridge Technologies, where he served as Vice President of Software Engineering. Mark also worked in numerous engineering and leadership capacities at Apple Computer over 12 years.
Mark holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
