Bill Ericson has been a general partner at MDV since April 2000 and has worked closely with entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest and Silicon Valley. His investment focus includes enterprise software and the intersection of IT and life sciences. Bill currently serves on the boards of digiMine, nLight Photonics, Sabrix and Vykor.

Prior to joining the firm, Bill was for 10 years an attorney working closely with entrepreneurs and early stage technology companies in Seattle and Silicon Valley, most recently as managing partner and founder of Venture Law Group's Pacific Northwest office. He applies his broad expertise with entrepreneurs and startups to invest in the best companies in the Pacific Northwest, while bringing these companies the resources of a top tier Silicon Valley venture firm.

Bill received his B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University of Foreign Service and J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the University of Washington Center for Technology Entrepreneurship and on the Board of Visitors of Northwestern University School of Law.
