SaaS and enterprise software veteran to lead Sabrix lead worldwide sales operations in next phase of growth

SAN RAMON, CA July 30, 2009 Sabrix Inc., a leading provider of transaction tax management for companies of all sizes, announced today the addition of SaaS and enterprise software veteran Patrick Williams as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Reporting to President and CEO, Steve L. Adams, Patrick brings more than 20 years of global sales experience and has a proven track-record of building and leading successful global sales operations for pre-IPO companies in highly competitive technology and enterprise on-demand software environments. Patrick will oversee sales and channel development for Sabrix’s entire product line including the Sabrix Application Suite and Sabrix MTS.

Over the last few years and despite the tough economy, Sabrix has achieved record growth and secured a leadership position in the transaction tax management market, notes Steve L. Adams, President and CEO of Sabrix. Building on our strategy to thrive, not just survive in the recession, we were looking for a global sales operations leader to continue to drive our success forward. Patrick joins Sabrix from StarCite, a leading provider of on-demand (SaaS) global meeting solutions for the planning, procurement, analysis, and logistic coordination of corporate meetings and events. As the SVP, Global Corporate Sales, Patrick oversaw the global enterprise and SMB sales organizations in addition to having responsibility for strategic partnerships, channels, solutions consulting, and sales operations. He increased sales from $10M to $60M during his 3+ year tenure there. In addition to StarCite, Pat has been a sales executive at Backweb Technologies, Taleo (Recruitsoft), and ProBusiness, a payroll services company acquired by ADP.

Eric Ruud, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, will now lead Sabrix’scorporate business development and strategic partnerships.
